How to Get Involved

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in Safety and Reliability in Mechanical Engineering;

Here’s how…

Join us

Become a member and subscribe to the Safety & Reliability Group (SRG) to receive regular updates about events and new journals. Application forms are available online at www.imeche.org/membership

We have Working Groups in Safety, Reliability, Standards, Human Factors and Training. We welcome those who wish to make an active contribution to events and activities in these areas srg@imeche.org

SRG Board

The SRG Board members include company directors, distinguished professors, senior engineers and managers, and consultants, who organise and lead events in response to developments and also in response to incidents where safety and reliability have failed. SRG are able to invite senior people directly concerned with investigations and review to present to the group.

Events

SRG runs a series of exciting events, examining key areas of concern and research and especially those aimed at “de-mystifying” the subject!

For full details of SRG events, please visit here or contact srg@imeche.org

Student Project Competition

Every year the SRG awards a prize to the best paper at the Advances in Reliability Technology Conference to find out more visit www.lboro.ac.uk/departments/tt/arts/

Journals

SRG supports the Journal of Risk Management To subscribe or for a free sample copy of either journal please contactmarketing@pepublishing.com
