The Sir Seymour Biscoe Tritton Memorial Lecture Honorarium (Serial 316)is funded from the Trust for Education and Research.
Trust Conditions:Founded by the family of Sir Seymour Biscoe Tritton in his memory in 1939. He was a Past-President of ILocoE and Council Member, 1913-1944. The family donated £500.
Award Conditions:
A Lecture to be know as "The Sir Seymour Biscoe Tritton Lecture", to be delivered biennially as the Railway Division Board may prescribe at the Institution and at local Centres in Great Britain upon a subject connected with Locomotive Engineering. An honorarium to cover the out of pocket expenses of the Lecturer.
