The Richard Herbert Innes Prize (Serial 218) is funded from The General Fund.

Trust Conditions:

Bequest of £500 under the Will of the late R H Innes in memory of three generations of Locomotive Engineers (1972).

For best paper(s) by junior members on the Locomotive (Steam, Electric or Diesel of any other form of propulsion).

This Prize is supported by a bequest of £2000 by the late Mrs A H Duncan (see Serial 256).

Award Conditions:

Awarded for the best paper on Locomotive Engineering (Steam, Electric or Diesel or any other form of propulsion) produced by Young Members of the Institution.
