The George Stephenson Prize (Serial 320) is funded from the Trust for Education and Research.

Trust Conditions:

The George Stephenson Research Fund was established in 1923 to commemorate the 1st President, with donations of £2,000 collected by the Institution.

Award Conditions:

The George Stephenson Prize is awarded annually to the author or authors of an original paper published by the Institution in the previous year.

Value:

£500.00 plus Bronze Medal.

Closing Date for Nominations:

1st March each year.

Nominations are considered by the Trustee Board Awards Committee during April each year.
