The Safety Award in Mechanical Engineering (Serial 318)
Award Conditions: The Safety Award in Mechanical Engineering Fund was established by Holman Brothers Ltd. In 1955, with a donation of £700. The Award is made for the best paper published by the Institution in the previous year on the subject of the elimination of dangerous dust arising from mining and industrial tunnelling and the removal of rock from the surface or under-ground or any aspect thereof or any other aspect of eliminating danger to health in mechanical engineering and research into matters connected with any such subject.
Value: £500.00 plus certificate
Nominations are considered by the Trustee Board Awards Committee during April each year.
