For students studying or gaining work placements overseas as part of their IMechE accredited degree programmes.

Specific conditions:
- Applicants must be affiliate members of the Institution, studying an IMechE accredited degree programme.
- Applicants must have a working knowledge of the language of the country to be visited.

Applications can be made throughout the year on the form titled "Educational Awards Committee - Application for Financial Support".
