About the Safety Award in Mechanical Engineering
The Award is made for the best paper published by the Institution in the previous year on the subject for promoting safety in engineering.
What is the award worth?
£500.00 plus certificate.
Am I eligible?
The paper must be about one of three aspects of safety in engineering:
- the elimination of dangerous dust arising from mining and industrial tunnelling and the removal of rock from the surface or underground, or
- any aspect thereof, or
- any other aspect of eliminating danger to health in mechanical engineering and research into matters connected with any such subject.
How do I apply?
Nominations are considered by the Trustee Board Awards Committee during April each year.
