Research Paper Awards
The premier prize of the Institution, the Thomas Hawksley Gold Medal is awarded for the best original paper published by the Institution during the preceding year.
The George Stephenson Research Fund commemorates the Institution’s first President. The prize is awarded annually to the author or authors of an original paper published by the Institution in the previous year.
The Award is made for the best paper published by the Institution in the previous year on the subject for promoting safety in engineering.
