Purpose:
To support students and members to undertake foreign language programmes.
Value:
Up to £500
Specific conditions:
- Applicants should be members of the Institution.
Applications must be supported by three references:
- One who can vouch for the program, confirming acceptance and giving a brief outline of course.
- One who can vouch for the applicant's character and suitability for an IMechE award.
- One who can state how an IMechE award will benefit the applicant's engineering development.
(IMechE Prizes and Awards Department will request these references.)
Application Procedure:
Applications can be made throughout the year on the form titled"Educational Awards Committee - Application for Financial Support".
