[August 2008] The Renewable Power Technical Activities Committee (RPC) is the centre of knowledge for IMechE on renewable power technologies and applications. This is an exciting era for renewables, with the industry set for rapid growth. As part of the Power Industries Division the RPC is looking to urgently and significantly expand its membership and now invites interested IMechE members who are involved in the sector to come forward.

The RPC has made a significant contribution to policy debate and contributes to the drafting of IMechE drafting of responses to key new policy and legislation. They have also organised a programme of lectures, seminars and conferences on renewable power.
