This competition is the foremost medical engineering student project competition in the UK and provides an opportunity for students across a wide variety of disciplines to present their work.
The Engineering in Medicine and Health Division of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers is delighted to announce the winners of the 22nd Annual Medical Engineering Student Project Competition.

Vicon Prize for Best Project involving the Design or Development of a Medical Device (£500)
Open to recent graduates (2009), third/fourth year undergraduates and taught Masters degree students, who have completed or are working on a project involving the design or development of a medical device.

MediMaton Prize for Best Medical Engineering Recent PhD Thesis (£750)
Open to those who have graduated or passed between 2008 and 2010, and have completed a Medical Engineering PhD Thesis.
