Coming up on the 26 June is an important day in the calendar where, as a
division, we celebrate the achievements of those entering the field through their undergraduate and postgraduate university projects, existing professionals who have demonstrated high professional achievement through published work and the work of a leading figure in medical engineering. This is through the annual student competition, annual awards and prizes, and the prestige Smith & Nephew Lecture respectively. This exciting day will be held at the IMechE HQ and will provide a key view across medical engineering that is relevant to school leavers and the teaching profession through to professionals in industry, engineering, science and medicine.
