The A M Strickland Prize (Serial 239) is funded from The General Fund.
Trust Conditions: A bequest of £2,398. No specific conditions, other than those of the General Trust Fund.
Award Conditions: A prize to be awarded for the best paper on a manufacturing industries mechanical engineering subject published by the Institution in the previous year or for a contribution or for achievement in that field.

Value of Awards: One or more can be chosen up to the £1,000 budget allocation from the following three Prize Serials:
Thatcher Brothers Prize (Serial 223) (NB No prize should be less than £100).
