Engineering Management MSc Gains Approval

Aston University’s School of Engineering & Applied Science has recently received valuable recognition for its management education for engineers, resulting in students graduating with two recognised awards.

An Approval Panel from the Chartered Management Institute visited the School and has given the MSc programmes in Engineering Management and Industrial Enterprise Management Institute approval. These are the first courses of this type to be approved by the Institute anywhere in the UK.

Students enrolled on one of the MSc programmes will now also be registered for the Chartered Management Institute Executive Diploma in Management. On graduating, students will receive both an MSc and the Executive Diploma, giving them a good foundation for a career in management within an engineering business.
