The Energy, Environment and Sustainability Group has a total budget allocation of £250 for distribution in 2007 to recognise the achievement of an engineer in the Group’s field of expertise by offering the:

The Group also makes nominations to the Trustee Board Awards Committee for the IMechE's Major Prizes and Awards:

• The James Clayton Prize
• The Thomas Hawksley Gold Medal
• IMechE Special Needs Award
• The Safety Award in Mechanical Engineering
• The George Stephenson Prize
• The James Watt International Medal (Awarded biennially)
