The Institution of Mechanical Engineers supports dispute resolution as it offers effective, reasonable, efficient and inexpensive ways to resolve disputes in both domestic and international engineering and construction contracts.

The IMechE maintains adjudication and arbitration panels comprising highly qualified Chartered engineers who have been trained and have experience in dispute resolution. The IMechE is an Arbitrator and Adjudicator Nominating Body, who will make appointments of Arbitrators and Adjudicators if requested.
