Nomination Process


Please print off the application form (PDF 16 KB) for the Nomination of an Adjudicator and send it together with a copy of the Notice of Adjudication to the address below. Due to the time restraint in the process it is helpful if this is sent by both fax and first class post. The Institution’s makes a charge of £200 (plus VAT) for the nomination. Cheques should be make payable to the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and sent with the postal copy of the application. It is important that contact names, addresses, telephone and fax details are included for both parties.

In accordance with the Scheme for Construction Contracts the Institution will notify selection of an adjudicator within five days of a request to do so. The appointment of the adjudicator has to take place within seven days of the submission of the Notice of Adjudication to the other party.
