The Viscount Weir Prize (Serial 226) is funded from The General Trust Fund.
Trust Conditions:
As per General Trust. A bequest, without conditions, of £1,628.
Award Conditions:
Awarded for technical contributions submitted by undergraduates and recent graduates read before a local meeting of the Institution, provided that the paper/contribution is of sufficient merit. The meeting is to be held and arranged by a Divisional Centre, of which the competitors are members.
Number of Awards: Normally 2 per Centre

1st Prize up to £200
2nd Prize up to £100
