[May 2007]  The one day seminar held on Advanced Aerospace Joining at TWI Cambridge on the 14 March 2007 attracted 60 delegates to hear speakers on a range of subjects relating to joining.

These included friction stir welding, election beam welding, inertia bonding and linear friction welding. The seminar enabled participants to gain an appreciation of latest developments as well a reminder of well established techniques. The day was rounded off by a flying display of a miniature UAV being developed at TWI.
