Over the past 100 years the Aerospace community has faced and overcome many challenges. In this second century of powered flight, probably the main challenge to our community is the environment. We need to design aircraft that are both cleaner and quieter and we need to operate them in a way that minimizes both noise and emissions. If we don’t our activities are likely to be restricted by taxes, charges and regulations.

Keith has been Chief Executive of the Royal Aeronautical Society since 1989 and is also Vice-Chairman of the Air League and Chairman of the Air Travel – “Greener by Design” Initiative.
