The Aerospace Industries Division of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers has initiated a North West arm to cater for the needs of members in the region and recognise the special place of the aerospace industry in the North West economy.

IMechE Aerospace North West Prize
IMechE Aerospace North West sponsors an annual prize for the best poster and associated presentation submitted on an aerospace related topic, the IMechE North West Prize. The principal award is for £500 with two runners-up receiving £250 (one each from industry and academia). All finalists receive a certificate of merit. All entrants are required to be under 30 years of age.
