David Brabham

David Brabham is one of the world’s elite sports car racers. He is an outright Le Mans 24 Hours victor and triple class-winner, double American Le Mans Series Champion and former Formula One driver.

David BrabhamSon of the legendary ‘Black Jack’, David has created his own powerful legacy befitting the Brabham name in an illustrious 30 year career spanning the highest echelons of racing.

Biography

Through his Brabham Performance Clinic, David uses his global ethos and winning mentality to inspire the next generation of racing champions. The Clinic developed the MSA’s young driver development and education programme, of which David was National Race Coach for six years.

Following his seven-year fight to successfully win back and secure the Brabham trademark, David is building the foundations to bring back one of the most iconic team names in Formula 1 history.

  • 24 Hours of Le Mans 2009 outright victor with Team Peugeot Total, double GT1 class winner in 2007 and 2008 with Aston Martin Racing
  • Back-to-back American Le Mans Series Champion with Highcroft Racing in 2009 and 2010
  • Two championship titles, 24 race wins, 62 class podiums and 14 pole positions in 105 ALMS starts since 1999. The only driver to boast pole positions and wins across all ALMS categories of LMP1, LMP2, GT1 and GT2
  • Since 1991, David has recorded an unprecedented collection of multiple sportscar crowns: Japanese GTC GT500 Championship, USA Professional Sportscar Championship, Spa 24 Hours, Daytona 24 Hours, Sebring 12 Hours, Petit Le Mans, Bahrain GT Festival and Bathurst 1000
  • One of the most outstanding drivers of his generation, David is renowned for his unrivalled experience, motivational energy and focused driving force. His unique ability to gauge and direct the team dynamic in such a way that inspires every member to break boundaries has helped deliver outstanding results for decades
