IMember and Forums

By logging into IMember, the IMechE Member's only online services portal, you can view and maintain your personal information, helping us to keep you informed of the latest services, products and information. Forums will enable you to interact with other Members online. Click on "Forum Subscriptions" to setup email notification of when a post is made to a forum of interest to you. For information on how to use them, go to the FAQs  section.

Members also have access to the latest Proceedings, in a downloadable PDF format.

Through IMember you can also enter the Virtual Library service. Resources include the Compendex Abstract Database via Engineering Village 2, IMechE Papers and Books Catalogue and the Knovel Electronic Book Collection.

IMechE’s Monitored Professional Development Scheme is phasing out all paper based MPDS records during 2005. The new e-MPDS online records system will ensure monitoring is easier for companies. e-MPDS is being used for all graduate engineers and mentors registered on MPDS and can be accessed via IMember.
