Young Members Board Assembly

The Young Members Board (YMB) is the national young members committee within the IMechE representing the views and opinions of the Institution's young members.  The Board is very proactive in meeting the current and future needs of young members and is actively involved in reviewing issues that affect the profession.

Every July the YMB Assembly is held.  This is an annual weekend of team building and strategic planning and allows the YMB to determine their priorities for the coming year and produce appropriate action plans. In 2008 the Assembly was held at Canterbury Christ Church University from 4 - 6 July.

YMA will take place from 3-5 July in 2009.

CHaTS

CHaTS is an essential event in the IMechE calendar and gathers key members of the Institution's Young Member Network. This event provides Young Members with the opportunity to network, debate issues in an open forum and share best practice.
