Overview
Mechanical Engineering Scholarships and Awards for Undergraduates and Apprentices
The Institution of Mechanical Engineers is committed to supporting the educational and development needs of today’s undergraduates.
The undergraduate scholarships and awards offer assistance to students who are about to start or have already started on mechanical engineering degrees accredited by the Institution.
With mechanical engineering very much an international discipline, the Institution is committed to helping undergraduates gain experience of working and studying in a different country. To this end, the awards include scholarships and grants for academic and industrial placements abroad.
The Institution enjoys excellent associations with some of the biggest names in the engineering industry. The current Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme includes awards sponsored by AMEC and Land Rover who as part of the scholarship are offering a scholarship/award to a student to assist them with their accredited degree-level programmes.

The IMechE is pleased to announce that Rolls-Royce plc supports the IMechE Undergraduate Scholarships.
