As a professional engineer, you can reward your colleagues and peers for their achievements which can truly be said to have improved the world, or advanced the discipline of mechanical engineering by nominating them for a prestige award:
● James Watt International Gold Medal (All IMechE members and non members)
● James Clayton Prize (All IMechE members)
● IMechE Equality and Diversity Award (All IMechE members)
● IMechE Award for Risk Reduction in Mechanical Engineering (All IMechE members and non members)
● Thomas Hawksley Gold Medal (All IMechE members and non members)
● George Stephenson Gold Medal (All IMechE members and non members)
Colleges and Training Providers can reward their Students for excellent achievement during the time of their course
Student award (College/Training providers)
College and Training providers can nominate their top ranking engineering student on the course.
As a university head of department, you can reward outstanding and exceptional academic achievement by nominating your best students for recognition awards.
A student who is the top ranking engineering student on the course can be nominated by their head of department for the:
● Frederic Barnes Waldron (Affiliate members on an IMechE accredited degree)
● Best Student Certificate (preferably affiliate members on an IMechE accredited degree)
A student who has completed an outstanding research, development or design project can be nominated by their head of department for the:
● Best Project Award (Affiliate members on an IMechE accredited degree)
● Best Project Certificate (preferably affiliate members on an IMechE accredited degree)
