Best Student Certificate

The best student certificate is awarded annually on the recomendation of a College tutor or training provider

Is your apprentice eligible?

The certificate is awarded for the top ranking apprentice in any year who is enrolled on an advance or modern engineering apprenticeship accredited by the Institution.

Conditions of award

The Intitution's Best Student Certificate will be awarded each academic year on the recommendation of the College tutor or Training provider.  The certificate is for the ‘Best Student’ on any year of an accredited IMechE advance or modern engineering Studentship course.

One certificate is available for each accredited course.

How do you nominate an apprentice?

Procedure

 

1. Nominations for an award will be made by the College Tutor or Training provider and must be received no later than 30 September by email (detailed below) or to the below address
2. Nominations MUST be made on the appropriate form.
3. The following information must be included on the form:
   • Full title of the advance or modern engineering Studentship 
   • The year the Student commenced the course and the year the Student completed / will complete the course.
4. In most cases, the Head of Department and the contact is not the same person.  Please state the contact as well as the Head of Department.  This will make correspondence much easier
