SE Asia Business Development Manager
Zen works as part of the International team growing the Institution’s membership and extending the Institution’s reach in the South East Asia Region, focusing on the Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei markets. He is responsible for creating and maintaining long term relationships with engineering employers, academia and relevant regulatory authorities that operate in those markets.
Zen has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Edith Cowan University, Australia and more than 20 years of business development work experience in the manufacturing and recruitment services sector. Prior to joining the Institution, he previously worked for CPA Australia, promoting the accounting certification and recruiting members from shared services companies and North Malaysia.
The role with the Institution enables Zen to help improve people's lives through better careers. He is able to engage and educate on the benefits of professional registration and other education products to all engineers at different levels of their professional career.
When not working, Zen enjoys catching up on the latest movies and TV series - and if weather permits, a game of tennis or golf.
