Volunteering Award

Members of the Institution, you can apply for financial support to help you volunteer for engineering projects and activities that assist communities and individuals worldwide.

You can also apply for financial support to help you undertake personal development activities that help others through engineering.

Typical activities include:

Providing project support for a voluntary project
Delivering STEM activities
Supporting environmental projects and educational programmes.

Eligibility

The award is open to members of the Institution.

Award conditions

After the event has completed the award holder is required to submit a report to the committee. The committee may, at their discretion, ask for a presentation to the committee in lieu of a report.

Successful applicants may not reapply within two years of the date of the award.

Value of award

Up to £2,000.
